SUPPORTERS of the National Brain Appeal are being invited to buy an original work of art in the charity’s annual fundraiser project.
There are still around 200 pieces that can be bought with all the proceeds going to help the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, Bloomsbury.
They are sold anonymously for £85 each, with the identity of the artist withheld until after the sale. Belsize Park actor Stephen Mangan, whose father died from brain cancer, was at a launch event last week.
He said: “I can’t think of a better cause.”
Sculptor Antony Gormley has also donated a piece that is being auctioned off separately.
