Britain must atone for its sins in Palestine

• I READ with great interest the interview carried out with Gerald Isaaman (Zion of the times, Review, May 18).
I only hope that Prince Charles or any other member of the royal family or British government will not join in the “celebration” of the Balfour Declaration. Britain must atone for its sins in Palestine.
Palestine was offered as a “homeland” to a people who had no claim for it after being offered Uganda and South America. The offer was made to Lord Rothschild, who had no claim to the land and no official position, in return for the USA to join the United Kingdom in World War I.
European Jews are originally Khazars (Shlomo Sand, The Invention of the Jewish People). The Jews who lived with Arabs during the Ottoman rule, who could have moved to Palestine, saw no reason to do so.
It is only after the bombing of synagogues in Baghdad and bombings in Cairo (by the Mossad) that Jews decided to leave.
Britain promised to grant independence to the Arab nations if they helped in fighting the Ottomans. Britain reneged on its promises. The Palestinians did not kill British soldiers in Palestine.
Just a reminder as to who killed Count of Wisborg Folke Bernadotte, Walter Guinness Lord Moyne and who bombed the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. Leaders of terrorist organisations become prime ministers.
The Balfour Declaration resulted in 750,000 Palestinian refugees, and the confiscation of their property. What is there to celebrate?
