Soldier War

Those evil activities

• A LETTER (A whiff of humbug, May 5) listed US-led NATO’s crimes around the world, also mentioning Britain’s catalogue of past subjugation in its colonies. So far so good.

Vladimir Putin is mentioned in the same vein but no mention of Russia’s difficulty with its NATO encirclement.

Instead it’s on to the bandwagon with this present anti-Russian hysteria. Putin was elected as president of the Russian Federation.

It looks like democracy doesn’t always suit the UK, US, NATO and EU.
