Mayor of London Sadiq Khan

• I SO agree with your correspondent MC Newberry’s letter about the Ulez, ultra low emission zone extension, (Ulez expansion is a threat to essential businesses, January 27).

I have most of my family living outside London and, where I live in W2, I am isolated as they can’t afford to visit as often as they would like to, with congestion, Ulez, and parking charges. I am sure that I am not the only one affected in this way.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan expects that people have money to change cars. Has he any idea how much a car cost? The offers of £2,000 or £5,000 mean nothing.

The Ulez is a money-making machine. The mayor is nothing less than a bully and cannot open his mouth without blaming the government. I wonder if he ever saw a spreadsheet.
