BRUNSWICK_04 DOGGY DAY 2025

The Brunswick is excited to announce that its hugely successful Doggie Day is coming back for a third year. The event will take place at the centre on Saturday 7 June between 11.30am – 3.30pm and will be even more spectacular this year.

The centre has arranged stunt dog shows featuring famous dogs from TV and film for the public to watch. These talented dogs have appeared in productions like MobLand, Wonder Woman, Doc Martin, Midsomer Murders, and more. These dogs will perform shows throughout the day and the trainers of these famous dogs will be at the event and available to discuss how they prepare their dogs for these ‘acting’ roles. Visitors will also be able to get a photo with these doggy stars on the day.

The centre wants to find the dog with the waggiest tale, best paw shaker, best coat, most handsome, best trick and more. The centre’s undercover judges will be roaming the centre during the event to identify dogs they think are deserving of awards – those that stand out will be handed a rosette. Dogs (and their owners) lucky enough to receive a rosette will then be invited to the podium on the day to collect their cash prize and to do a photoshoot.

Dog lovers are invited to bring their furry friends dressed in their most stylish or cookiest outfits for a chance to standout in the centre’s fashion show. Fashion-forward pups can strut their stuff on the dog-walk, with cash prizes up for grabs for the best-dressed pooches. The centre has also arranged for artists to be at the event all day to capture visitors’ dogs in their best light – drawings can then be taken home and enjoyed forever.

There will be a professional photographer at the event to capture a professional shot of dogs that visitors can then purchase. Multiple professional dog trainers and vets from Medivet will be at the event to offer helpful tips and advice. Plus, Virtue Vets will be able to undertake full health checks of your furry friends too.

The Brunswick has arranged for several pop-up shops at the centre to be selling doggie essentials including treats, food, collars, leads and more. Plus, there will be several incredible selfie opportunities in the centre for visitors to enjoy.

If visiting dogs need a bit of a pamper, the centre has arranged a pamper station where dogs can get a groom, nail clipping or massage. Tasty doggie treats will be given out around the centre plus there will be water bowls everywhere.

Finally, there will be free puppuccinos from Starbucks, doggy ice-creams available from Smoothie Factory, samples and goodies from Gails and even a BBQ outside Riding House. The event is free to attend, and any charitable donations raised on the day will be given to Guide Dogs UK, who will also be in attendance and offering advice on how you can become a guide dog fosterer.

John Themis, Marketing Manager for the Brunswick says, “We’re delighted to be hosting this much-loved event for the third year running. It’s a true celebration of everything that makes dogs so special, and each year it just gets bigger and better. This time, we’re welcoming an exciting line-up of celebrity dogs from film and TV, giving visitors the chance to meet them — and maybe snap a selfie too. We can’t wait to see even more stylish pups take to the stage in our ever-popular fashion show. Plus, with expert trainers on hand to answer dog owners’ most pressing questions, it promises to be an unmissable day for dog lovers of all kinds.”
