THE phrase is apparently “living rent free in your head” – and Jeremy Corbyn, despite no longer being the leader of the Labour Party or even one of their general election candidates, has plenty of places to stay.

Take some of his old colleagues who keep telling us the party has changed and everybody has moved on – before launching into some new insult. They just can’t get him out of their minds.

The same goes for the press who chase him more than most shadow frontbenchers, hoping to goad him into some viral clip.

This time they came up with the idea that he had been denied a pass through the security gates at Labour’s conference. Not so! He hadn’t applied for one – and Harrington instead spotted him (with a new purchase, see picture) speaking at The World Transformed festival which was also on in Liverpool this week.

He had a fair point when he told one session that an army of lobbyists and corporate sponsors had given conference an ugly facelift.
