TEN years since it was pressed, maybe jazzman Neil Drinkwater’s album Soho Surprise can be considered a hard-to-find rarity. I know most of you don’t know what something called a “compact disc” is – but this one was special as it had clippings of none other than the Westminster Extra stamped on the topside. Mr Drinkwater and his band Red Stripe had produced the album in tribute to Soho’s lost legends including “dandy of the underworld” artist Sebastian Horsley, who died of a heroin overdose in 2010.
