Georgia Gould

DON’T be surprised if Labour’s candidate in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale, Georgia Gould (pictured), quickly makes a name for herself at parliament.

A good friend of Sir Keir Starmer, she will be a trusted figure if elected next month.

But the endless press stories about a nepotisic rise to the top do not tell the whole story.

Yes, she is the late pollster Lord Gould’s daughter but she passed up the easy route to the House of Commons and instead spent years in community centre hall meetings as a councillor in Camden.
