‘Floored by sudden drastic manoeuvres by bus drivers on Transport for London’

• IN the past six months I have personally witnessed two incidents of elderly people on buses being floored by sudden drastic (and, of course, unexpected) manoeuvres by drivers on Transport for London.

When I later asked one of them, an acquaintance, if he had lodged a complaint, he shrugged his shoulders and said: “You have to do it by computer.” Talk about alienating our elderly!
