London Assembly member wants to see cost of ‘Elizabeth Line' rebrand

LONDON Assembly member who once said that Buckingham Palace should be turned into social housing has called on Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to explain how much it will cost to rebrand Crossrail as the “Elizabeth Line”. Signs and maps at stations, including Tottenham Court Road, will honour the Queen. But Labour’s Tom Copley, a proud republican, filed an official request for the cost of the switch to be revealed last week.
