• I WAS absolutely delighted to read Gerald Isaaman’s brilliant review (I’m not trying to play politics with this book, July 20) of my new novel Kompromat (published by Point Blank at £14.99).

One correction, please, is to be noted. Gerald points out that, in my book: “…the Leave campaign is led by a prime minister who is a covert Remainer”.

Actually, it’s the other way round. The Remain campaign is led by a prime minister – I call him Jeremy Hartley – who is a covert Leaver!
