• WHY are some of your letter writers in such a rush to select a Labour candidate for Islington North?

Why should the voters of Islington North give any support to Labour at the next general election?

Nobody has ruled out the idea of Jeremy Corbyn standing as an independent; and if this were to happen then we would have the proper representation that would be beyond the wildest dreams of any other constituency.

And if he chooses not to stand then we should ask Jeremy who he would recommend as a successor.

And I urge everybody to ignore any advice from Sir Keir Starmer or any of his supporters.
