Nazmi Sedrak… some 50,000 parking fines later
BRITAIN’S “oldest parking warden” is hanging up his hi-vis at the age of 88 after issuing an estimated 50,000 fines.
Nazmi Sedrak, who has enjoyed a long career for Westminster’s parking contractors NSL, was praised at a farewell celebration for helping keep the city’s streets safe, orderly, and accessible.
Known for his warm smile and keen sense of fairness, he’s earned the admiration of residents and colleagues alike. It’s estimated that Mr Sedrak has issued more than 50,000 fines during his time in Westminster, demonstrating his commitment to keeping the city’s streets safe and accessible for everyone.
The celebration was held at Westminster City Hall earlier this month.
