• WHY wait until after the emergency investigation into the cause of the Grenfell Tower fire disaster before fitting sprinkler systems or appropriate fire suppressants to all tower blocks where they aren’t already installed?

How would the findings tell us that we don’t already need sprinklers in all tower blocks no matter what?

I am shocked to hear both Theresa May and Sajid Javid, secretary of state, dismiss this costly imperative as being less important than immediately applying measures that could help save lives in the event of another fire.

It is this kind of stupidity and intent to save money that has caused this fire in the first place.

Wake up Theresa May. I ask our government to make immediate reparation for this tragic consequence of their austerity measures and straight away install sprinkler systems and other appropriate fire safety measures now, in all social towers blocks that are without them.
