• I WAS disappointed to read that the Labour Party expelled Moshé Machover (Machover Labour expulsion – it’s all a bit Orwellian, October 13).

The party should apologise to Professor Machover and reinstate him. What a shame to be at the mercy of some ignorant people.

Why can’t people differentiate between Zionism and anti-Semitism? I will ask Tulip Siddiq MP to start a petition for reinstatement.
