IT’S another week, and another announcement from a long-standing restaurant that it is closing its doors.

The top-rated 10 Greek Street has been a mainstay in the Soho street for 14 years but said that August 8 will be the last day of dining.

Its owners, incliuding chef Cameron Emirali, have not expanded on the reasons, but said in a social media post they had taken an “incredibly difficult decision”, adding: “This little corner of Soho has been our home – we’ve welcomed familiar faces week after week, celebrated milestones big and small, shared extraordinary bottles and served thousands of seasonal plates.”

Claudia Winkleman, the host of The Traitors, has been among the famous faces who have dined there and it has regularly received champion reviews from food critics.

The restaurant said it had been “14 unforgettable years”.
