The difference between the Palace of Westminster and hospitals
Thursday, 19th October 2017
• A FEW lines adapted from a traditional toast.
Here’s to the bee that flies so high – the small bee gathers the honey.
The poor folk they do all the work – the rich folk gather the money.
As sure as this world is as round as a wheel – the sting of death we all must feel.
If life was a thing that money could buy – Jeremy Hunt would live – and nurses would die.
Unlike MPs or peers nurses do not “enjoy’’ subsidised food and drink at their hospitals.
