The impression with TfL is that they would prefer to run public transport without passengers

• I HAVE to agree with the bus driver who said that Transport for London are to blame for buses losing money (Bus drivers are in a no-win situation with fare-dodgers, March 23).
Passengers may be travelling when their Oyster cards have run out; or the card readers are broken so everyone travels free. This “no-cash” policy on the buses is not working but will TfL admit it?
TfL will never admit they ever do anything wrong. I’ve written to them on a number of occasions and they are not interested in passengers’ opinions. They are always right.
I’ve always got the impression that they think the public transport system would work better if there were no passengers.
