The doctor’s bill for that is $1,279 and I await the bill for the hospital’s emergency room, bathing of wounds, tetanus injection, etc.

Whatever our gripes about the NHS we really are fortunate to have a service that is free at the point of use and has dedicated doctors and nurses doing a greatjob under less than perfect conditions.
