The Whittington Hospital

• PROFESSOR Sue Richards welcomes the Darzi report on the National Health Service because it addresses underfunding, (So what is the health secretary up to? October 24).

But The Whittington Hospital community don’t trust Ara, Lord Darzi. After all it was he who had the vicious idea to close our A&E back in 2010.

We do not want private funders or private health companies running our NHS.

We want funding to be restored to 2010 levels prior to the massive and subtle cutbacks deployed by the Tories and the Liberal Democrats.

Most people want a fairer taxation system that taxes the rich to restore our health and welfare state to meet our needs.
