• I THINK it’s a bit much that there’s no transport at Christmas, so hundreds of people are unable to get to their family or friends and end up having a lonely Christmas.

Surely many drivers of trains and buses would be happy to work Christmas Day for the extra money, etc, and making many people happy that they can get to their loved ones.
