Team Camden coaches now plotting an ‘even bigger and better’ turnout

COACHES from Team Camden are plotting an “even bigger and better” turnout when the sports action returns after the summer holidays.
CSSA Single Form Champions: Holy Trinity & St Silas C of E Primary School
More than 500 young athletes got the chance to represent their borough during the annual London Youth Games, the School Games and the ParaGames.

Hoping to build on those numbers, Team Camden manager Ben Dorsett said: “Our main goal is always to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to represent their borough in a wide range of sports. Next season we want to come back even bigger and better, starting with the cross-country.”
Camden Schools Sports Association (CSSA) champions: Torriano Primary School
The borough’s young sports stars, coaches and volunteers were honoured at a glitzy awards ceremony at Vision Hall in King’s Cross recently.
Tara Pattinson and Caleb Schafer collected the Outstanding Team Award on behalf of Camden’s gold medal-winning squash squad, who train at Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club
Among the big winners were Highgate Harrier Arjuna Pflug and brothers Zac and Josh Zobell from Mike’s Judo Club, who all shared the Outstanding Boys Award.
The Outstanding ParaGames Boys Award was shared by Ayman Hayat and Ayman Ahmed, with a special mention for Alfie Husband
The Outstanding Girls Award was shared by Camden Swiss Cottage swimmer Jemima Da Silva and Highgate Harrier Emma Hofstrom.
Parliament Hill School were named winners of the Jackie Charlton Award
Meanwhile, the Outstanding ParaGames Boys Award was shared by Ayman Hayat and Ayman Ahmed, with a special mention for Alfie Husband, who all shone in the athletics event, as did Outstanding ParaGames Girls winners Inara Jean-Baptiste and Arianna Barnett.
