• IN the politics of “othering”, the former deputy chair of the Conservative party has been reprimanded, even by the minister for illegal immigration, Michael Tomlinson.

Bluntly, Lee Anderson MP stated that one cannot trust our mayor, a Muslim politician, who has a fine record of inter-faith culturalism in our capital city.

Anderson has perpetuated a harmful trope/stereotype about all London Muslims, and fair-minded voters should acknowledge this malign conflation, and vote accordingly.
