• LABOUR leader Sir Keir Starmer will have nothing to spend if he wins the forthcoming election according to Andrew Marr.

“The kitty is empty” shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves has told poor Sir Keir.

“There is nothing left, not a bean” Reeves revealed following a meeting with Treasury officials.

One positive outcome from Brexit is, we now have a central bank and therefore some scope to manipulate the money supply.

The “chancellor in waiting” should stop playing the hard-man, tune into her feminine side, get into the spirit of the season then gift the “prime minister in waiting” the promise of a bagful of beans come the election victory.

What about the deficit? Just follow the money, close tax loopholes and tax excessive profits to cover the cost.

Simple really!
