PLAYERS from Hampstead FC are enjoying a flourishing relationship with a top team from the FA Women’s Championship – and this Sunday that bond is set to get even stronger.
Coaches from London City Lionesses will help Hampstead run an open trial at the youth club’s home ground at Chase Lodge Playing Fields in Barnet.
Hampstead are busy recruiting for the new season, and are looking for girls of all ages to join their ranks, along with boys aged 14 and over.
The Lionesses’ Camden-based chairwoman Diane Culligan, who is also the founder of Hampstead FC, said: “It’s going to be a great day with great coaches. We’re going to run a series of training drills and exercises, and hopefully play some small-sided matches, too – so come along and join the fun.”
The open trial takes place this Sunday between 12pm and 2pm. Interested players are asked to turn up 15 minutes early to register. Visit www.hampsteadfc.com for more info.
